This summary report was written in collaboration with the White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for African Americans. It summarizes the perspectives and opinions of Black males and experts in the field as recorded at the 2014 Summit on Excellence in Education for African American Males. The resulting report includes important priorities, needs, wants, and poignant messages voiced by African American males.
